My paintings consist of highly oil-based inks and some latex paint properties (of which I mix together to create my own glossy yet rigid texture). Depending upon the thickness of inks/paints applied, some may take a considerably long amount of time to fully dry. These thicker paintings I coat with a thin layer or clear  acrylic enamel, to lock in the drying inks and prevent them from becoming tainted with outside elements (such as dust).  I also occasionally inhibit the use of some hand-picked organic elements to mix in with my dyes and some of the latex paints.
